About the practice

A small clinic with one focus: keeping you playing.

TR PT and Performance was built for golfers and active adults who were tired of fifteen-minute appointments and cookie-cutter exercise sheets. From our studio on Pleasant Street in Winthrop, we combine orthopedic physical therapy with golf-specific screening and strength training under one roof.

Whether you're managing a stubborn low back, coming off surgery, or simply want twenty more yards without paying for it the next morning, the process is the same: measure, treat, train, retest.

How we work

What you can expect

Time over volume

One patient at a time, a full hour, the same therapist. Care that's rushed doesn't change how you move.

Find the cause

Pain is the symptom. We test until we know what's producing it, then treat that — not just the sore spot.

Train, don't just treat

Rehab that ends at pain-free is unfinished. We keep going until you're stronger than before the injury.

Golfers get golfers

Your plan is written around tee times, league nights and the season — not a generic protocol.

Our neighborhood

Proudly based in Winthrop

We're minutes from East Boston, Revere and the Belle Isle Marsh, and an easy drive from downtown Boston — convenient for a session before a round at your home club.

Next step

Ready to play pain-free golf?

Start with a full-body movement screen and a clear plan. Most golfers leave the first visit knowing exactly what is limiting their swing.
